Sleuth and Justice

Sleuth and Justice was born from the idea that loved ones, as well as those interested in learning about missing and murdered people in Louisiana and Texas, may want a thoughtful place to learn more about these cold cases. The challenge of this project was finding the right balance between a unique, eye-catching design and a tone that remains professional and appropriate for such a sensitive subject.

Inspired by the justice and legal system, the identity and website were created to present information with care, allowing important stories to be shared with respect. The color palette was chosen intentionally to help set a reassuring tone. Greens suggest stability and trust, muted blue brings a sense of calm and compassion, and brown adds warmth. Together, these elements create a space that feels steady and supportive, helping visitors feel more at ease while engaging with difficult content.
